Forbidden Planet “ID” Color Illustration

Acknowledging his work at Walt Disney Studios in 1955 as Assistant Animator to Josh Meador for the “ID sequence” for M-G-M’s Forbidden Planet, here is a unique illustration by Joe Alves of the terrifying ID Monster. This is a reprint of an original color pastel rendering done on black art stock. This is printed in vibrant color on heavy paper stock with a semi-gloss finish. It measures a large 11″ x 17″ and each is hand-signed in silver ink by Joe Alves.
